How hot can we heat these to without the lids on?
Answer: This is a borosilicate glass which can withstand temperatures up to 500C for short periods of time. The cap of polypropylene has a melt temperature of 130C. -

Can these safety store isopropyl alcohol? What is the under cap material made of?
Answer: Since Isopropyl Alcohol is a Volatile Organic, this vial is meant to hold volatile organic samples. The closure is solid polypropylene with a PTFE liner. Hope this helps! -

Answer: Hello Michelle! The cap part# is D0399-24, which is for a pack of 100. OR part# D0399-24/144, which is for a pack of 144. -

What is the size of the opening? one person answered 18 mm. another said a little over a cm (10 mm). for my purpose i need to know exactly.
Answer: According to the manufacturer, the ID (inner diameter) of the opening is 17.02 mm. Hope this helps!
