Left-handers may find that their hand smears the ink but using the 0.05 mm pen refills instead of the 0.07 mm pen it comes with helps reduce smudging. There have been reports of difficulty when using the product on a sloped writing surface (as the spiral ream holding it together makes the edges not sit flush). Some customers have reported smearing initial notes when writing quickly. The product receives admiration for being a great solution for student note-taking, work meetings, and personal writing.
