However, it is worth noting that for crossbows that shoot at 415fps or higher, these arrow shafts are not suitable. Additionally, to finish these into arrows, one needs a fletching jig tool, arrow tube pipe, and glue. Although these carbon arrow shafts are not perfect, for its price, it offers a nice option for backyard practice. The carbon grain on the shafts may not appeal to some people, but it is unfortunately a downside since it is the tradeoff for its durability. However, only 11 out of 24 shafts had an acceptable straightness rating, which varied from .006 or less, with the remaining shafts having triple to quadruple that amount. The good ones fly well, and they are also relatively lightweight. With a wrap, 4 heat vanes, nock, 100-grain tip and insert, each arrow weighed about 358 grains. Additionally, be aware that if you order a 400 spine, the tests might be closer to a 350/340 spine. Overall, the AMEYXGS 30 Inch Carbon Arrow Shafts are an affordable option for those looking for a bare set of arrows for backyard practice. However, if you are not able to test them and straightness is important, it may not be the best choice.
