The Silonn slim01b ice maker is easy to use, portable and produces ice quickly. The machine requires 8-24 hours to ooze back down from the tubes to the compressor pump if tilted. The filters in these are very sensitive and should not be used with tap water, which can ruin the filter. The machine stops making ice when the basket is full. Turning off and unplugging the machine while not in use saves energy and prolongs the life of the machine. Some issues include the machine breaking in less than a year, not being able to keep ice cold after making it and having difficulty getting a response from customer service.
