The Ares Vision 500KG electromagnetic lock is perfect for commercial use as it has a holding force of 1200LBS. It can be powered by almost any Mean Well power supply and can be de-energized to open the door. The lock can get quite warm but not too hot to touch. It can work for gate openers like Eagle and Liftmaster as well. However, some customers had difficulty mounting the lock due to holes not lining up with the Z bracket or had no LED indicator. Some customers also had difficulty getting support from the seller or Ares. Overall, the lock works well and is cost-effective for keeping doors closed on machines while they are running.
