It is made from lead-free brass and has three handles that allow you to control the flow of water. It can be used both indoors and outdoors because of the US standard 1/2'' NPS to 1/2'' NPT connector. While the product is beautiful and comes with all necessary installation parts including teflon tape and gloves, the product has quality control issues that are annoying and frustrating. One customer experienced a crack in the plastic joint inside which meant that the entire top kept sliding off its joint, which stopped the faucet from swinging, making it necessary to readjust the slippage every few days. Another issue is installation; the faucet does not come with instructions, which makes it difficult to install. Many people hire a plumber after self-installation. There are reports of leakages at the wall and the faucet attachment. Despite these problems, it is a sturdy, well-made faucet that is great value for the price.
