The foot pegs are designed with a ball detent and pre-drilled slots to hold in place, but some customers have experienced issues with the ball detents being stuck in the wrong position, causing the pegs to be unusable in some cases. Some customers had to grind down the balls and drill new dimples to make the pegs work. However, others found the fit and finish to be perfect and the pegs to be super sturdy. A customer who works at a Harley shop stated that the design is awful and the pegs are extremely dangerous to ride with. One customer had an issue with the bolts backing out on their first ride but was able to change them out. The pegs fit perfectly on a 2010 Dyna Wide Glide. Overall, some customers had positive experiences with the foot pegs, finding them to be sturdy and a good value for the price. However, others had safety concerns and issues with the design, specifically with the ball detents.
