The valve has a vinyl handle for easy control and is made of durable stainless steel. However, the valve is not full bore, and the 1 inch FNPT valve is especially narrow inside the ball. One user had a leaking issue with the 3/4" valve, although it could be due to a pinched O-ring. It is frustrating since the valve is buried deep in the plumbing system.
