The Ash Wood Furniture Legs with Gold Caps are a set of four legs, each 4 inches long, that can be used for sofas, chairs, tables, dressers, beds, cabinets, and ottomans. These wooden legs come with installation hardware, and they are easy to install. The legs are sturdy and can support any kind of furniture as long as you can securely install the mounting hardware. The hanger bolts on these legs protrude very little beyond the included mounting pads, should be within 1/8" and will need accounting for 3/4'' from the top of the leg to the top of the hanger bolt. The legs use the same bolts that are used in IKEA furniture with removable legs, and the threaded screw is 5/8 inches long. The diameter of the leg at the top is two inches, and they are narrow, less than 2". The legs come coated, so if you want to stain them, you will need to sand the coating off. The bits needed to drill the holes for these legs may need some initial pressure to get the hole started, and they should get easier to drill as you go along. The reception of this product has been mixed. Some customers have had great experiences with these legs, saying they were easy to install, durable, and beautiful. However, some customers reported that the legs looked cheap, and the gold looked green. Some reported that the 6-inch legs were not proportional, and they were too skinny at the top.
