The OBDMONSTER ELM327 is an OBD2 adapter which is compatible with different car models. The adapter automatically switches, making it ideal for use with FORScan MS/HS CAN. The device requires a USB and is only compatible with Windows systems. Customers enquiring about 2019 f150, 2011 Ford Crown Victoria, and 13 Ford Taurus Limited were informed that the device would work. However, the adapter did not work for activating trailer brake module on 17 ram 1500. A customer asked if the device works on an iPad for 2019 f250, and was informed that it works with Windows system only. A customer intending to use the device with a 2022 Ford Super Duty Truck was told that it should work with all ODBC2 and CAN networks. A customer who replaced their ABS module in their truck was helped with code reading by the adapter. Another customer noted that the device provided more diagnostic information than an average OBD2 box. However, before diagnostic tests, they saw a message indicating that the particular adapter or driver software might not be compatible with their 2009 Mercury Mariner Hybrid. A few customers expressed dissatisfaction with the device's functionality. One customer mistakenly purchased the device not compatible with their Windows 11 system.
