Although the paper is ideal for wet-folding, it is not as strong as elephant hide and might tear if folded back and forth too many times. Also, it's a little thicker for beginners, but the right size for folding and cutting. However, this paper is not suitable for making Japanese paper flowers as it doesn't hold a crease well without backcoating it. The subtle shades of the paper are gorgeous and change in different lighting. Due to the packaging, some corners might fold, but they are easy to fix. The colors penetrate the paper, giving no white edges or funky shifting at folds.
