The PawHut 145 Chicken Coop is a wooden poultry cage with run and inner hen house space for backyard or garden use. Although it has 6 nesting boxes and can accommodate ideally 6 hens, it may hold up to 8 chickens without overcrowding. However, this coop is not predator-proof and needs additional hardware cloth on the bottom of the run and added coop doors. The instruction manual is frustrating, and there is no assembly video. The price has significantly increased due to the skyrocketing of material prices. The coop can be moved once assembled and has handles on one end for easy transport, but there are instances of the product falling apart quickly and requiring multiple repairs. Some customers have reported that the wood was of low quality and glued with adhesives that didn't hold up. Customers have said it looks great only when assembled and needs a waterproof finish on the roof as it's already warped. Some have had to use flex seal and tarp to stop water damage. Others have said that while it holds up, there is work to do, and it's not worth the money spent. One reviewer suggested that customers build their own chicken coop for better quality.
