This primer bulb pump is a good quality product that works well for most small engines. It has two valves – one on each end, which allows the fuel to travel in one direction and prevents it from going back the other way. There is a work around to use it as a siphon, but it requires a couple of T fittings, a petcock valve and extra hose. The pump is not the fastest flow but good enough for most small engines. It also has a flow-through valve, which means that once you get the fuel going, it will siphon without squeezing it more. The rubber in the pump is not suitable for diesel fuel and it is better to replace it once it has had an issue. The price is good and it works great, but keep in mind that it will need to be replaced every couple of years.
