Sound Town Racks STMR-14UWT2 Editorial Review
The Sound Town 14U rack case is an affordable traveling equipment box with sturdy design and quality hardware. The case has wood panels framed with aluminum and has snap, twist lock fasteners and tongue and groove coupling to hold covers in position. The caster wheels make it easy to move around, and the front and back of the case can double-up as side tables when removed from the main cabinet. The case works well for students and as a gigging solution, especially where space is tight. The rack case accommodates a Behringer Xenyx X2442USB mixer, and the Crown PRO Audio XLI2500 works great with the rack case. However, the case won't accommodate a M32R mixer and may not be suitable for mixers with large dimensions. The table size of the case wasn't clear as the reviewer did not purchase the version with tables. The case may not be as sturdy without the front and back sides, which double as tables. Most reviews were positive, and any issues experienced by customers were quickly resolved by the seller.
