Documentary Editorial Review
In the review of Planet Earth III, the customer expresses initial confusion about the different versions of the episodes (Blu Ray and 4K). While the 4K version provides stunning visuals, the Blu Ray versions contain valuable "making of" segments at the end of each episode narrated by David Attenborough. The 4K discs do not include these segments, except for a Consolidated 54-minute "Making Of" documentary on the last disc that combines them. However, this documentary inexplicably misses the segments for the last two episodes. Despite some shortcomings in the disc organization, the review acknowledges the flawless picture and audio quality typical of BBC Nature programs and praises the exceptional work of David Attenborough. The packaging is criticized for being subpar, with the discs housed in a regular Blu Ray case instead of a black 4K case. Overall, Planet Earth III is appreciated for its captivating content, beautiful visuals, and insightful extra features, maintaining the high standard expected from BBC Earth productions. **
