Jancane U309 Editorial Review
The USB 3.0 Switch Selector has garnered positive reviews for its functionality and ease of use. Users have noted that it works reliably without the need for driver installation, making it a straightforward solution for connecting multiple USB devices across two computers. It allows for the sharing of USB peripherals—such as mouse, keyboard, scanner, and printer—effectively and comes with two USB cables included, enhancing its convenience. Customers appreciate the performance, often describing it as meeting their needs excellently, especially for tasks involving non-demanding peripherals. However, there are a few drawbacks worth mentioning. Some users highlighted concerns regarding the visibility of the indicator LED, which they found to be too dim. Additionally, the older Micro-B USB connection for power supply rather than a more modern USB-C has raised some alarms, as it necessitates an additional power source for optimal functionality. This is particularly relevant since some users advised avoiding the switch for external data storage devices due to potential data errors, although USB sticks generally performed well. Overall, the USB 3.0 Switch Selector has proven to be reliable and cost-effective, though it does come with a couple of notable limitations. **
